One & Two-Bedroom Residences
Compact plans where the bathroom and kitchen usually are the whole scope, and the finish level is what carries the project

Turnkey apartment renovation at Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residences — microcement and decorative finishes, luxury bathrooms, bespoke joinery and mirror works, with the building NOC, lift bookings, delivery windows and Dubai Municipality permit run by the same team from survey to handover.
Projects we have photographed and documented in Jumeirah Living WTC, room by room. Client names and addresses are never published without written permission.
Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residences is a managed residential tower in the Dubai World Trade Centre district, alongside Za’abeel Park and a short drive from Downtown and Business Bay. It is one building rather than a district, and that changes the job more than anything about the apartment itself.
The residences were handed over at the start of the 2010s to a high original specification, so the work owners commission here is almost never structural.
It is a finishes and joinery brief: bathrooms rebuilt as sculptural rooms in their own right, seamless microcement in place of the original tiling, bespoke mirror work, custom vanities and lighting that is designed rather than defaulted.
What actually governs the programme is the building. Renovating inside an operated tower means a management NOC, agreed working hours, a booked service lift, timed delivery and waste windows, and full protection of the corridors and common areas you carry every sheet of board through.
We plan that logistics chain at survey stage and price it, because in a building like this it is the constraint that decides the date, not the trade sequence.
Book a Free Site VisitIt is a single tower, so the variable is not the structure — it is the unit, its floor and how much of the building you have to cross to reach it.

Full finishes and joinery resets — wardrobes, vanities and mirror works replacing the original developer fit-out
Bigger scopes with longer lift and logistics windows, which have to be booked and sequenced before the programme is fixed
Units let or serviced through the building’s own operation, where the operator’s standards and handover checks apply on top of the NOC

Four briefs cover almost everything we are asked to price in this building, and none of them touch the façade or the structure.
A complete interior reset inside the existing envelope — flooring, bathrooms, kitchen, joinery and a lighting scheme, sequenced around the building’s working hours and lift access rather than against them.
Bathrooms rebuilt with new waterproofing and drainage underneath, then custom vanities, vessel basins, bespoke mirrors and layered lighting on top — the most commonly commissioned scope in the building.
Seamless microcement to vanities, walls and wet areas, applied by our own specialist team. It gives a joint-free, sculptural surface in place of the original tiling — and it is applied over a properly prepared and waterproofed substrate, never straight onto what is there.
Custom vanities, wardrobes and made-to-shape mirrors produced in our own factory, so the pieces that define the interior are set out and built by the team installing them.
The NOC, the working-hour agreement, the service-lift booking, the delivery and waste windows and the common-area protection are all part of our scope. In a managed tower these are the things that move a completion date, so we handle them rather than leaving them with the owner.
A seamless finish fails at the substrate, not at the surface. We prepare, waterproof and apply as one scope — so there is no gap between the contractor who built the vanity and the applicator who has to make it read as a single piece.
Everything bespoke here has to arrive through a booked service lift and a protected corridor. We build in our own factory to sizes and joints set out for that route, which is a design decision made at drawing stage rather than a problem discovered on delivery day.
Renovations at Jumeirah Living WTC start with the building’s own management: an NOC against the fit-out rules, plus agreed working hours, service-lift booking, delivery and waste windows and common-area protection.
A Dubai Municipality permit follows where the scope touches wet areas or partitions, and DEWA approval where electrical loads change.
There is no external or façade scope in this building.
Halo prepares the drawings and runs every submission and booking in-house as part of the project.
We visit your apartment in Jumeirah Living WTC, walk the property with you and understand the brief, the budget and the timeline.
Dimensions, structure, existing MEP and past modifications are documented so the design starts from the property as it actually stands.
Layouts, finishes and joinery are developed into a defined scope with an itemised, line-by-line proposal you can compare and question.
NOCs, permits and DEWA coordination are prepared and submitted by our in-house approvals team before work begins.
One project manager sequences trades, materials and our own joinery factory, with staged quality inspections at every milestone.
Defects are found and closed by us, the property is cleaned and documented, and you walk through the finished work before sign-off.

The questions Jumeirah Living WTC owners ask before starting a renovation.
It follows the scope and the finish level rather than the floor area — a single bathroom rebuilt with a custom microcement vanity and bespoke mirrors can carry more value than a whole-apartment repaint. We survey first, then issue an itemised, line-by-line proposal against a defined scope with a dated programme and milestone payments, including the building access and protection costs rather than adding them later.
Yes. Building management issues the fit-out NOC and sets the working hours, lift booking, delivery windows and protection requirements. A Dubai Municipality permit is added where the works touch wet areas or partitions, and DEWA where electrical loads change. We prepare and submit all of it and do not start on site until it is in hand.
Yes — it is the finish this building is most often renovated with, because it produces a continuous, rounded, joint-free surface that tiling cannot. The condition is the substrate: we strip back, re-tank the wet area, prove it, and apply afterwards. Applied over existing tile or a tired membrane it will fail, which is why we always quote the waterproofing and the finish together.
A single luxury bathroom is usually 6–10 weeks on site; a full apartment interior runs 10–16 weeks. Add roughly 2–4 weeks before site start for the NOC and the access bookings. The building’s working hours and lift windows stretch a programme compared with a villa, which is why we agree them before we commit to a date rather than after.
That is exactly what the building’s rules are written to prevent, and we work to them rather than around them. Noisy trades are confined to the permitted hours, corridors and lifts are protected before the first delivery, waste leaves in booked windows, and the unit is kept sealed and cleaned daily. Management sees a contractor they have an agreement with, not a complaint.
