Wardrobe design starts with an inventory, not a drawing: how much hanging you need at long and short lengths, how many drawers, how much folded and shelf storage, where the shoes and luggage actually go, and who else shares the room. Halo measures the wall, checks it for square, plumb and level, and plans the internal layout around what you own — then develops the door style, finish and handle direction alongside elevations and 3D visuals so you approve the inside of the wardrobe as well as the front of it.
Built-in wardrobes run wall to wall and floor to ceiling, so they use the awkward space a freestanding unit wastes — the strip above the door head, the return into a corner, the slope under a stair. Every fitted wardrobe is made to measure against your actual walls, which in Dubai are rarely square; scribes, filler panels and adjustable legs absorb the difference so the finished run reads as part of the room rather than a box pushed against it.
A walk-in closet is a room-planning problem before it is a joinery one: the circulation width you need to pull a drawer out while somebody else passes, whether the run is single-sided, galley or U-shaped, and where the mirror and the seat go. The internal design is what you use every day and the first thing a cheap wardrobe gives up on. Wardrobe lighting is the cheapest upgrade with the biggest daily payoff, and it has to be planned before the carcass is built because the wiring runs inside it. Halo integrates LED profiles into shelves and hanging rails, sensor-switched interior lighting that comes on with the door, plinth and cove lighting under a run, backlit glazed bays, and full-height, inset and door-mounted mirrors — with the transformer and driver positions planned for access rather than sealed behind a panel.
Fronts in spray lacquer, natural and reconstituted veneer, high-gloss and matt laminate, fluted and slatted timber, fabric-wrapped panels, back-painted or bronzed glass and mirror. Carcasses are specified in moisture-rated board, because a Dubai bedroom that runs the AC hard all summer and then sits closed up during a family trip is a genuinely humid environment, and standard MDF on a bathroom-adjacent wall is where wardrobes fail here. Hinges, runners and sliding gear are German and Austrian soft-close as standard.
Most wardrobe enquiries turn out to be storage enquiries. While the workshop is already making your bedroom run it costs far less to add the rest: entrance and shoe cabinets, linen and utility cupboards, under-stair storage, laundry-room cabinetry, maid’s and guest-room units, luggage storage and garage or store-room shelving — all in the same finish, on the same delivery, under the same quotation.
A lot of the wardrobe quotes in Dubai come from showrooms that place the order with a third-party workshop. It works until something is wrong — a door out of alignment, a finish that does not match, a panel cut short — and you find yourself negotiating between two companies who each believe it is the other one’s problem.

As an indicative market range, a laminate wardrobe with hinged doors typically falls between AED 1,200 and AED 2,200 per linear metre, a lacquer or veneer finish between AED 2,200 and AED 3,800, and a sliding or glass door system between AED 2,800 and AED 4,500. A full walk-in dressing room with an island generally starts around AED 45,000. Those are planning figures rather than a quotation. When you compare two quotes, always check what height the rate assumes — a rate for a 2.4 m carcass is not comparable to one for a full ceiling height — and what is included inside, because drawers, lighting and mirrors are usually extra.
