Plan kitchen ordering during a full home renovation in Dubai, from early selections to measured cabinetry, appliance confirmation and installation readiness.

When to order your kitchen during a full home renovation in Dubai

Order the kitchen in agreed stages during a full home renovation. Choose the layout and appliance models early, then ask the project lead which dimensions need checking on site before cabinetry goes into production. Keep the delivery date tied to the room’s readiness and the wider renovation programme.

An order can mean appointing the kitchen team, reserving materials or authorising manufacture. Before signing, ask which commitment you are making and what remains open. A kitchen chosen while the house is still being redesigned needs a different set of decisions from one going into an unchanged room.

Choose who owns the kitchen interfaces

Start with the scope of the appointment. Will one contractor coordinate the kitchen with the home renovation, or will a separate kitchen supplier work alongside your main contractor? Both arrangements need a named person responsible for resolving the boundaries between packages.

Halo’s kitchen renovation service in Dubai includes cabinetry alongside worktops and building-services coordination. When reviewing a proposal, ask what is included for your home and identify anything supplied by you or another specialist. A broad description such as kitchen installation leaves room for different assumptions about appliance connections or alterations to the room.

If you appoint a separate supplier, have the project lead agree who checks the receiving room and who passes revised dimensions to the supplier. Keep the kitchen supplier’s programme in the main renovation programme so each team can see the work it depends on.

Settle the choices that other trades need

A cabinet colour can often be discussed independently of the building works. Moving the sink or changing the appliance arrangement involves other decisions. Ask the kitchen team to identify which selections the services designers and installers need before their work proceeds.

Record the actual appliance models, including any items you plan to retain. Have the responsible specialists check the installation information against the proposed layout. If you later substitute an appliance, send the replacement model information to the team and obtain confirmation of any consequences before buying it.

Use the kitchen design and services brief for that technical discussion. For ordering, keep a shorter decision record: what has been accepted, what is still provisional and who must confirm it. Ask the supplier to explain availability and storage arrangements for anything you are considering ordering ahead of the room.

Agree what releases the cabinets for manufacture

During a full home renovation, the room shown on an early survey may change. A revised partition or a different floor build-up can affect the kitchen. Ask the project lead and joinery team to agree when the relevant site conditions will be sufficiently established for final measurement.

Avoid issuing a blanket instruction to proceed while those dependencies remain unclear. Ask which parts can be released now, which are held and how the held items will be checked. If phased release is proposed, have the team record its limits in the order.

The drawing information belongs in the joinery production package. Your ordering record should identify the accepted revision and the person authorising release. When a site change affects that revision, ask the project lead to confirm the response with the factory before the affected work continues.

Make delivery conditional on a room check

Ask the supplier and contractor to agree the receiving conditions for delivery and installation. Include the state of the room and whether other trades still need access. Confirm the route through the property and, where relevant, the building’s delivery arrangements.

If delivery is planned before installation, agree where the units will be held, how they will be protected and who accepts them. Discuss what happens if the house is not ready. A supplier’s dispatch date and the site’s readiness date need separate confirmation.

Keep later packages visible too. Ask when the worktop specialist needs access, who coordinates appliance installation and what checks remain before handover. Have the project lead explain how a delay in one package changes the next appointment.

Bring the current floor plan and proposed appliance list to a kitchen renovation assessment with Halo. Identify changes elsewhere in the home that could affect the kitchen, including new openings or flooring. Ask for a written ordering sequence that shows what you can commit to now and what must wait for a site check.
