Luxury Master Bedroom with Fluted Timber Feature Wall

The defining feature is the dramatic floor-to-ceiling fluted timber feature wall behind the bed, with the vertical timber detailing continuing seamlessly across the ceiling to form an architectural canopy. This wraparound treatment gives the sleeping area a strong sense of enclosure while introducing natural warmth, texture and craftsmanship into the room.

The upholstered bed is integrated visually with a wide timber headboard, while a large abstract artwork forms the central focal point above it. Warm concealed lighting washes the fluted timber wall from the sides, accentuating its vertical texture and creating a softer evening ambience.

Suspended metallic bedside pendants provide focused decorative lighting on either side of the bed, complemented by custom bedside tables with dark metal detailing. Additional floor lamps create layered illumination within the adjoining lounge area.

The suite incorporates a dedicated private sitting and reading area beside the full-height glazing. A deep upholstered chaise creates a relaxed secondary living zone within the bedroom, transforming the room from a conventional sleeping space into a complete private retreat.

At the foot of the bed, a custom upholstered bench with a slim black metal frame provides an additional dressing and seating element. Layered throws, cushions and textured fabrics introduce softness against the timber architecture, while a large patterned rug defines the sleeping zone.

The flooring is finished in elegant herringbone timber, extending throughout the suite and complementing the warmer tones of the feature wall and bespoke furniture. The geometric flooring pattern introduces subtle movement while maintaining the natural material palette.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows on multiple sides bring abundant daylight into the bedroom. Full-height layered curtains provide privacy and light control while retaining the room's generous proportions.

The ceiling integrates recessed downlights and linear HVAC grilles discreetly around the architectural timber feature, demonstrating the coordination required between joinery, lighting and mechanical services.
