The centrepiece of the bathroom is the elegant freestanding oval bathtub, positioned directly beside the full-height glazing to take advantage of the natural daylight and garden outlook. Its smooth sculptural form gives the room a contemporary spa character, complemented by a floor-mounted chrome bath filler and minimalist black side table for bath accessories.

Along the opposite wall, an expansive floating bespoke timber vanity introduces warmth and natural texture into the otherwise light-toned bathroom. The custom cabinetry incorporates multiple wide drawers for concealed storage, finished with long slim dark handles that give the joinery a clean architectural appearance.

The vanity is topped with a substantial light stone countertop with subtle veining, incorporating twin undermount basins and contemporary chrome mixers. The stone continues around the vanity edges to create a refined, precisely detailed finish.

Above the vanity, a large full-height mirrored wall visually expands the bathroom and reflects the natural daylight entering through the glazing. Concealed illumination beneath the mirror provides a soft wash of light across the stone surface, while a group of sculptural glass pendant lights suspended at different heights creates a decorative focal point above the vanity.

Two tall fluted-glass doors with slim dark metal frames lead to the enclosed shower and WC areas. The translucent glazing maintains privacy while allowing light to travel through the bathroom, avoiding the visual heaviness of solid doors and reinforcing the room’s contemporary character.

The walls are finished in a subtle textured neutral decorative treatment, introducing softness and depth without competing with the timber and stone surfaces.

Light-toned herringbone flooring extends throughout the bathroom, introducing a sophisticated geometric pattern while reinforcing the warm natural palette. The floor treatment visually connects the timber vanity with the brighter architectural surfaces.

The ceiling incorporates a large recessed tray detail with continuous concealed cove lighting, supplemented by discreet downlights. This layered lighting strategy creates a warm ambient glow suitable for a spa environment while still providing functional illumination.

Full-height glazing brings daylight deep into the bathroom, softened by sheer curtains for privacy. Indoor planting beside the bathtub strengthens the biophilic quality of the space and contributes to the relaxed wellness atmosphere.

Emirates Hills Renovation FAQs

The questions Emirates Hills owners ask us most before they start.

Emirates Hills projects are bespoke by nature, and pricing reflects the property and the brief rather than a standard range. Substantial single-scope works — a full kitchen and living reconfiguration, or complete outdoor works — typically start in the high hundreds of thousands of dirhams, and full mansion transformations run into the millions. We price from a detailed survey and an itemised scope; you see exactly what every line buys.

Site teams are vetted and consistent, access is controlled and logged, photography is restricted, and we do not publish client names, addresses or identifiable interiors without written permission. Communication runs through one senior project manager.

For large mansions, often yes — wings and floors can be phased, sealed and serviced separately. Full structural transformations are faster with the property vacated, but the phasing decision is made with you at survey stage, not imposed.

Yes, and renovation is the right moment to do it — cabling, containment, lighting circuits and AV infrastructure go in while walls and ceilings are open. We design the automation scope with the interior design, then commission and demonstrate the working system at handover.

Halo does, as part of the project scope: community management NOC, Dubai Municipality permits, DEWA coordination and pool approvals where relevant. Because the villas are custom-built, we produce as-built survey drawings first so submissions match the real structure.

01
Bespoke is our default

Our joinery factory and specialist finish teams exist for exactly this work — one-off pieces, exact tolerances and materials sourced to specification, controlled in-house.

02
Engineering before aesthetics

Custom mansions hide custom problems. We survey structure and MEP first, so the design you approve is one that can actually be built without mid-project surprises.

03
Discretion and single accountability

One senior project manager, vetted teams, controlled site access and no publication of your property — the delivery standard this community expects.
