A sophisticated spa-inspired master bathroom transformation in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, combining extensive bespoke fluted timber joinery, sculptural stone basins, illuminated mirrors, integrated storage and a dedicated relaxation area to create a luxurious private wellness space.
Book a Free Site VisitOne of the strongest features is the extensive floating bespoke vanity cabinetry, finished with vertically fluted natural timber fronts that introduce warmth and texture into the otherwise soft neutral interior. The long suspended vanity provides substantial concealed storage while keeping the floor visually open, enhancing the bathroom’s spacious contemporary character.
The vanity is topped with a substantial light-toned stone countertop with subtle natural veining, supporting a sculptural vessel basin and minimalist metallic mixer. The precision between the stone surface, basin, cabinetry and plumbing fixtures gives the vanity a highly resolved bespoke appearance.
A large full-height mirrored wall extends above the main vanity, visually doubling the space and reflecting both the architectural lighting and natural daylight. The mirror also captures the opposite vanity elevation, adding considerable depth to the room.
Across the bathroom, a second custom floating vanity incorporates additional fluted timber cabinetry, open towel storage and integrated shelving. This creates a practical grooming and storage zone while maintaining the same material language throughout the master bathroom.
Three individually shaped backlit mirrors provide dedicated grooming positions above this vanity. Two tall pill-shaped mirrors are paired with a circular illuminated mirror at the dressing area, their concealed perimeter LEDs creating a soft halo effect against the warm neutral wall finish.
The bathroom goes beyond conventional wet-area planning by incorporating a sculptural upholstered chaise lounge, creating a dedicated relaxation and dressing area within the master suite. Its softly rounded form reinforces the curved geometry of the mirrors and introduces a residential, spa-like quality.
The ceiling incorporates a large recessed tray with continuous concealed cove lighting, complemented by slim black linear lighting tracks, recessed spotlights and discreet integrated speakers. The layered lighting allows the bathroom to transition from bright functional illumination to a softer wellness atmosphere.
Large-format glazing brings abundant daylight into the room and opens towards the landscaped exterior. Full-height curtains provide privacy and soften the transition between the bathroom and outdoor environment.
The neutral large-format flooring and subtle wall finishes allow the timber joinery, illuminated mirrors and sculptural furniture to become the dominant visual elements without making the space feel overly decorative.

The questions Palm Jumeirah owners ask us most before they start.
Trakhees — the regulatory arm of Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation — governs construction approvals on the Palm, alongside Nakheel or building-management NOCs depending on the property. It is a different route from Dubai Municipality, with its own drawing formats and inspections. Halo manages the full submission as part of the renovation scope.
Palm Jumeirah renovations are luxury-specification projects. As indicative planning ranges: a substantial Garden Homes interior renovation typically starts around AED 800,000, and full Signature Villa transformations with structural works, pools and terraces commonly run into several million dirhams. Scope, specification and the condition of the original structure drive the number, so we price from a detailed site survey, never from the villa type alone.
The island is a reclaimed, beachfront environment: salt air, high humidity and direct marine exposure degrade standard roofing, terrace and façade systems years earlier than inland. Any renovation that opens the envelope — extensions, terraces, pools — should re-engineer waterproofing at the same time. Halo’s Shield programme specifies marine-appropriate systems with warranties.
Yes. Trunk apartment renovations are regular work — kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and full joinery packages, delivered around building management NOCs, service-lift bookings and permitted working hours. Most Shoreline projects complete within 6–10 weeks on site.
Usually yes. Structural openings, extended kitchens and reconfigured first floors are all achievable with the right engineering and Trakhees approval. We survey the original structure first, design the modification around it, and submit stamped engineering drawings — so the approved design is the one that gets built.

Palm Jumeirah falls under Trakhees (PCFC), not Dubai Municipality — a different submission format, different inspections, different documentation. We submit as a licensed contractor who has been through the process.
Salt air, humidity and beachfront exposure decide material selection here. We specify waterproofing, external finishes and ventilation for the island, not for a generic Dubai villa.
Signature-level joinery, stone and specialist finishes are produced and controlled in-house, so the finish quality the address demands does not depend on a subcontractor’s queue.
