The centrepiece is the substantial custom double vanity finished entirely in seamless microcement. Formed as a monolithic architectural volume with beautifully softened rounded corners, the vanity demonstrates the versatility of microcement in creating continuous sculptural surfaces without conventional joints or visible transitions.

The warm off-white microcement finish gives the vanity a tactile, hand-finished character while providing a restrained backdrop for two oversized brushed bronze / dark metallic vessel basins. The contrast between the seamless mineral surface and metallic sanitaryware gives the bathroom a sophisticated contemporary identity.

The twin basins are paired with tall metallic mixers, reinforcing the bronze-toned detailing and creating a refined hospitality-inspired vanity composition.

Behind the vanity is a highly distinctive bespoke decorative feature wall, composed of sweeping abstract dark and neutral forms. The textured treatment creates an artistic backdrop rather than a conventional tiled bathroom wall, while concealed illumination accentuates the curved pattern and adds visual depth.

Four custom mirrors are arranged symmetrically across the feature wall. The upper pair features elongated pill-shaped mirrors with rounded bases, while two smaller curved mirrors below create an unusual layered composition directly behind the basins.

Integrated backlighting behind the feature wall and mirrors creates a soft halo around the composition, highlighting the curved forms and complementing the seamless geometry of the microcement vanity.

Suspended centrally above the vanity is a sculptural honeycomb-patterned metallic pendant light. The decorative fitting acts almost like jewellery within the bathroom, casting patterned illumination while coordinating with the metallic basins, mixers and accessories.

The surrounding walls feature subtle textured decorative finishes in warm grey and neutral tones, complementing the mineral character of the microcement and creating a more seamless residential atmosphere than a conventionally tiled bathroom.

A recessed wall niche incorporates warm integrated lighting and a metallic-toned interior, creating a dedicated display area for decorative objects and bathroom accessories.

The consistent use of rounded forms — from the microcement vanity and vessel basins to the mirrors and sweeping wall graphics — creates a cohesive architectural language throughout the bathroom.

Jumeirah Living WTC Renovation FAQs

The questions Jumeirah Living WTC owners ask us most before they start.

It follows the scope and the finish level rather than the floor area — a single bathroom rebuilt with a custom microcement vanity and bespoke mirrors can carry more value than a whole-apartment repaint. We survey first, then issue an itemised, line-by-line proposal against a defined scope with a dated programme and milestone payments, including the building access and protection costs rather than adding them later.

Yes. Building management issues the fit-out NOC and sets the working hours, lift booking, delivery windows and protection requirements. A Dubai Municipality permit is added where the works touch wet areas or partitions, and DEWA where electrical loads change. We prepare and submit all of it and do not start on site until it is in hand.

Yes — it is the finish this building is most often renovated with, because it produces a continuous, rounded, joint-free surface that tiling cannot. The condition is the substrate: we strip back, re-tank the wet area, prove it, and apply afterwards. Applied over existing tile or a tired membrane it will fail, which is why we always quote the waterproofing and the finish together.

A single luxury bathroom is usually 6–10 weeks on site; a full apartment interior runs 10–16 weeks. Add roughly 2–4 weeks before site start for the NOC and the access bookings. The building’s working hours and lift windows stretch a programme compared with a villa, which is why we agree them before we commit to a date rather than after.

That is exactly what the building’s rules are written to prevent, and we work to them rather than around them. Noisy trades are confined to the permitted hours, corridors and lifts are protected before the first delivery, waste leaves in booked windows, and the unit is kept sealed and cleaned daily. Management sees a contractor they have an agreement with, not a complaint.

Planning Something Like This?

01
We run the building side, not just the build

The NOC, the working-hour agreement, the service-lift booking, the delivery and waste windows and the common-area protection are all part of our scope. In a managed tower these are the things that move a completion date, so we handle them rather than leaving them with the owner.

02
Microcement applied by our own team

A seamless finish fails at the substrate, not at the surface. We prepare, waterproof and apply as one scope — so there is no gap between the contractor who built the vanity and the applicator who has to make it read as a single piece.

03
Work that fits through a lift

Everything bespoke here has to arrive through a booked service lift and a protected corridor. We build in our own factory to sizes and joints set out for that route, which is a design decision made at drawing stage rather than a problem discovered on delivery day.
