A striking contemporary luxury bathroom transformation in Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai, combining dramatic translucent stone, sculptural sanitaryware, bespoke floating cabinetry and minimalist glass detailing to create a bright, sophisticated private bathroom.
Book a Free Site VisitThe defining feature of the interior is the spectacular full-height backlit stone feature wall behind the vanity. The surface displays an intricate pattern of circular, crystalline and mineral-like formations in soft grey, white and green tones, creating a highly distinctive natural-stone effect across the entire elevation.
Integrated illumination behind the stone enhances its translucency and internal patterning, transforming the wall into an architectural light feature rather than simply a decorative finish. This specialist application gives the bathroom a dramatic focal point while maintaining the calm neutral palette of the surrounding interior.
Two tall pill-shaped backlit mirrors are positioned directly against the stone feature wall. Their softly rounded geometry contrasts with the more organic stone pattern, while concealed perimeter illumination creates a floating effect and provides flattering ambient lighting around each vanity position.
Below, an expansive bespoke floating double vanity spans the wall, finished in a light neutral timber tone with clean handleless cabinetry. The suspended construction keeps the floor visually open and reinforces the bathroom’s minimalist contemporary character while providing generous concealed storage.
The vanity is topped by a seamless light-toned counter supporting two sculptural white vessel basins. Contemporary chrome mixers complement the restrained palette and provide a crisp metallic contrast against the softer stone and timber finishes.
The walk-in shower is separated by an exceptionally minimal frameless glass shower screen, maintaining visual openness through the bathroom. A ceiling-mounted rainfall shower introduces a spa-inspired bathing experience, while integrated recessed shelving provides practical storage for towels and bathroom essentials.
At the rear of the shower, large floor-to-ceiling frosted glazing allows abundant diffused daylight into the room while maintaining privacy. Slim dark frames around the glazing create architectural definition against the otherwise light interior.
The bathroom also features a contemporary black wall-hung WC, introducing a bold contrast against the pale flooring and neutral finishes. Its concealed cistern and wall-mounted installation maintain the clean, uncluttered aesthetic.
Large-format light stone-effect floor tiles continue through the bathroom and shower zone, visually enlarging the space while creating a seamless transition between wet and dry areas.
A textured three-dimensional wall treatment is visible along the entrance wall, adding another tactile finish to the interior and demonstrating the layering of stone, glass, decorative surfaces and joinery within the overall composition.

The questions Jumeirah Golf Estates owners ask us most before they start.
As indicative planning ranges: interior modernisations of early-phase villas typically run from AED 400,000 upward depending on size and specification; combined interior-plus-outdoor transformations with pool works commonly exceed AED 700,000. Every project is priced from a survey and an itemised scope rather than a per-villa guess.
In most clusters, yes. Rear structural openings with large sliding systems are among our most requested JGE works. They need structural engineering, community approval and a DM permit — all handled in-house — and the result transforms how the villa uses its frontage.
Yes. We prepare the modification drawings against the community guidelines, submit to community management, and then run the Dubai Municipality permit. Owners sign the applications; everything else is managed for you.
Single-zone projects — kitchens, joinery packages, outdoor works — usually can. Full modernisations are faster vacated, but phased occupancy is workable in the larger clusters where wings can be sealed and serviced separately. We agree the approach at survey stage.
Typically 8–14 weeks on site once approvals are in place, depending on pool complexity and hard-landscaping scope. Approvals add 3–6 weeks. We sequence outdoor works around the cooler months where owners prefer it.
