Serene Dubai Hills master bathroom combining a floating stone vanity, bespoke timber cabinetry, matte-black fixtures, illuminated storage niches, privacy glazing and layered spa-inspired lighting.
Spa-inspired master bathroom transformation for Karan M. in Dubai Hills Estate, featuring a floating stone double vanity, bespoke timber cabinetry, matte-black fixtures, illuminated niches and a softly lit built-in bathtub by Halo Interiors.

A serene contemporary master bathroom transformation in Dubai Hills Estate, designed around natural stone, warm timber joinery, seamless neutral surfaces and carefully layered architectural lighting to create a sophisticated private spa environment.
Book a Free Site VisitThe bathroom is organised around a dramatic floating double vanity with a substantial marble-effect stone surround, extending across the left side of the room. The pronounced grey veining introduces natural movement into the otherwise restrained palette, while the deep stone fascia gives the vanity a sculptural, monolithic appearance.
Beneath the stone vanity, bespoke floating timber cabinetry incorporates long drawers and open towel storage, providing substantial functionality without visually weighing down the room. The warm natural timber finish contrasts beautifully against the cooler stone and neutral wall surfaces.
Two integrated rectangular basins are paired with minimalist wall-mounted matte-black mixers, keeping the countertop clear and reinforcing the bathroom’s clean contemporary detailing.
A large full-height mirror runs above the vanity and extends towards the ceiling, visually increasing the width of the room and reflecting both the natural daylight and architectural lighting. Concealed warm illumination along the upper perimeter creates a soft floating effect and adds depth to the vanity elevation.
Opposite, the bathing area incorporates a large built-in bathtub with a seamless surround, creating a clean architectural volume rather than treating the bath as a separate fixture. Integrated low-level LED lighting beneath the bath surround gives the structure a floating appearance and provides subtle ambient illumination at floor level.
Three recessed illuminated wall niches are positioned vertically above the bathtub. Each niche incorporates warm concealed lighting and provides dedicated display and storage space for toiletries, decorative objects and greenery. The back panels appear to feature subtle three-dimensional geometric detailing, adding texture when illuminated.
A handheld bath shower is discreetly integrated beside the tub, while the surrounding ledge provides additional practical storage.
The room’s material palette is deliberately restrained: pale stone, warm timber, matte-black fittings and soft neutral wall finishes. This creates a calm wellness aesthetic while allowing the marble veining and illuminated niches to provide visual interest.
The walls appear to use a seamless textured mineral-style decorative finish, reinforcing the spa-like atmosphere and reducing the visual interruption associated with conventional tiled wall grids.
At the centre of the room, a large floor-to-ceiling privacy-glazed window brings diffused natural daylight deep into the bathroom while maintaining privacy. Its slim dark frame echoes the matte-black mixers and introduces a crisp architectural contrast against the lighter interior.
Large-format pale floor tiles extend continuously through the bathroom, visually increasing the sense of space and creating a clean foundation beneath the floating cabinetry and bathtub.

A deep fascia carried round the vanity, so the stone reads as one sculptural volume

Floating drawers and open towel storage, warm against the cooler stone above

A textured mineral-style finish with none of the grid lines a tiled wall would bring

Wall-mounted mixers, echoed in the slim dark frame of the picture window

The questions Dubai Hills Estate owners ask us most before they start.
The most commissioned works are landscaping and pool builds on bare plots, kitchen upgrades from developer specification, full joinery packages (wardrobes, TV walls, studies) and bathroom refinements. It is upgrade work rather than repair work — replacing standard finish with owner specification.
As indicative ranges: complete garden builds with a pool, deck and planting on Sidra-size plots typically run AED 250,000–500,000 depending on pool size, finishes and outdoor structures; townhouse gardens without pools start considerably lower. Every project is priced from a plot survey and an itemised scope.
Not if it is scoped correctly. We identify what remains under developer warranty, design upgrades to avoid disturbing those elements where possible, and document existing conditions before works begin. Structural or MEP changes are engineered and approved so responsibility is clear.
Yes — external works, structural changes and MEP alterations in Maple and Sidra follow the same community-then-DM route as larger villas. Interior cosmetic works are lighter. We confirm the exact route for your unit at the site visit and manage the submissions.
Kitchen and joinery packages typically run 4–8 weeks on site; garden and pool builds 8–14 weeks including approvals; combined interior-plus-outdoor programmes are sequenced so the family can occupy the villa throughout most of the works.

Newer villas need precision upgrades that respect a structure still under warranty — we protect developer warranties while replacing what owners actually want changed.
Pools, landscaping and outdoor structures are delivered by our own teams under the same project manager as the interior works — one programme, one accountability.
